Add Something New to Your Daily Routine

We all have a morning ritual. As part of it, maybe you think of what you need to accomplish at work or errands that you need to run. Consider adding something new to your daily routine. Think about one way to help someone today. If you strive to do at least one nice thing for someone each day, think of all the good you can bring to the world. Here are a few easy ways you can help.

Home Cooked Meal
Everyone likes a warm, home cooked meal, but there are those that don’t get to enjoy one. Spend some time with an elderly relative or neighbor over a hearty meal. Or if you don’t have time to cook, head to a soup kitchen and serve.

Volunteer
While you probably can’t volunteer on a daily basis, you can easily spend a couple hours a week with your favorite nonprofit. Just find a way you can volunteer on a regular basis and it will easily become one of the highlights of your week.

Spontaneous Giving
While planning how to help someone is great, the most rewarding could be the opportunities you don’t expect. You may just happen to be in the right place at the right time when someone could use your help. Take advantage of these opportunities.

Spread the Word
Now that you’re doing something nice for others, why not try to get others to do the same. Use Facebook and Twitter or start a blog to highlight how you helped someone each day. Your friends might become inspired by your actions and how easy it is to help someone else.
