NACM SEEKS 2009 Xcel AWARD NOMINATIONS In order to recognize the outstanding achievements of case management/service coordination programs and those whose tireless efforts make these programs successful, NACM is seeking Xcel award nominations. There are four award categories:
When submitting the name of the individual please be sure to describe the personal qualities of the nominee that are worthy of recognition, such as how well the individual works with others, demonstrates skills in creative problem solving, advocacy, advancing self-determination, recovery and/or resiliency. When submitting a program for consideration, please describe distinct qualities of that program that merit recognition. In all cases, please describe an event(s) or action(s) which exemplifies how the person incorporates the practice of self-determination, recovery, resiliency values in their work. The recipients of the 2009 Xcel award will be the VIP guests of NACM at the Minnesota Conference. Award winners will receive a plaque to commemorate their unique accomplishments and a ticket to the social activity on Thursday night. The Executive of Program Director or his/her designee of the case management/service coordination organization of the year will receive the same benefits. The winners of the 2009 awards will be honored at the conference luncheon on Thursday in Duluth , Minnesota . Submissions should be received by September 14, 2009.
